Carmilla is gay. That's established in her novel (yes, she is based on a character from an actual book -- a novella, I think).
She was also the basis for the characters in the "e;Karnstein Hammer film series, such as the Vampire Lovers. Decent flick, really.
Succubus goes for guys, though, so that part of the cover story is a bit harder to swallow. Maybe they were trying to appeal to Olrox's more prurient interests.
