#142: Unknown Dangers
As the game goes on, it does seem as if the player is getting more and more confident. Probably due, in no small part, to the fact that the last few enemy encounters he's had haven't been that hard.
But then, again, that's just like any adventure game. If you have the right items, the battles aren't hard at all. King's Quest had a giant that was felled by a slingshot (of course, they cribbed that from some religious book). All it takes is the right equipment for the situation.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
