Finale #4: His Glory Be
This Comic's Cast:
This comic was actually surprisingly hard to layout, largely because I have a very specific idea in mind for these finale comics. I want each of them to be a single panel little thing, snippets from their lives after the comic ends. I knew the gist of the joke I wanted -- Angel getting into Heaven and them immediately getting kicked right back out again -- but every layout I had required multiple panels. Things like Angel walking into the gates of Heaven and then getting chased out a couple of panels later. That doesn't fit my vision here, though. Thankfully then this idea came up and it was perfect. Simple and effective.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
