#3982: Into the Abyss
Got a few things to cover here. To start, I know this comic is has a weird layout. I know that could make it harder to read (although I tried a few things to cover for that). And yet, at the same time, it entertained me and that's really all that mattered.
Secondly, yes, they survived. Originally I wasn't going to do this section here, I had some other thing in mind, but then I saw I was about 15 or so comics ahead of where I had envisioned the comic ending and, well, I had to pad things out. Plus, this way I get to deliver a bigger climax and, frankly, I like that better.
The comic evolved once again without my planning it and we all just have to keep up.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
