#3729: Close But... Maybe Not

The event I'm referencing took place over in DSWC, near the end of the first Villains arc. Link, along with Black Mage, Crono, and Succubus, fought, and eventually bested, the Elder God. I was going to reference Richter Belmont in this description of this incident, but Richter never shows up in that part of the arc (being the focus of the Heroes arc on the other side of the comic), so I had to clutch out a different end to this comic. The two sorceresses having a moment lamenting the idiocy of Richter would have been hilarious, but this works okay.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
