I kind of like this version of Blacula. I had originally intended for him to be the villain of CVRPG VI (with the plot that is actually CVRPG VI comprising CVRPG VII, which now won't happen), but then I did his big evil story over on DSWC and... it just didn't work here anymore. I brought him back in Forward to the Past as a bit of a lark, and then I let the comic spin itself out. Honestly, everything we're covering now wasn't part of my plan, but that's what happens when you write a comic on the fly. Still, we have the vil version over on DSWC, and a nicer one here. A bit of growth for two different versions of the character.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
