I dunno if it's been obvious, but I have been trying to rehabilitate Raye a tad. The soul in her system should make her better, but because the demon is still in there, she has a different road to travel with her rehabilitation that Darkmoon ever had. It makes her an interesting character, but she also needed more time to get it right. She's a work in progress.
