Blacula does, in fact, have these magical grey orbs. We last saw them over in DSWC during his big arc there (which is part of the reason why Blacula isn't the main villain here because I felt like I already did that arc) so I figured I should use them again. They're pretty cool.
Note, at this point it's pretty clear DSWC and CVRPG exist in a Multiverse and not a single timeline so if you were wondering how Blacula could have these orbs, or how he could be here, or how CVRPG can be in 2499 considering what happens down the road in DSWC (no spoilers), that's your answer.
