#3488: Stupid Inspiration
This room actually exists in Symphony of the Night and, from the perspective of the gamer, it is useful. "Oh, I can come here and get any subweapon I want? Awesome!" Although, admittedly, the subweapons in SotN were pretty useless -- you were better of using the main weapons and magic.
Even still, from a storytelling perspective, what is the point of having these giant vats of subweapons in the castle? It was already questionable why Dracula was okay putting subweapons in candles, but this just seems so much more idiotic because he's not even hiding them around the castle (to be sporting) but flat out encouraging the heroes to come here and get fully armed. So weird.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
