In my head, Dracula's castle is laid out like it was in Super Castlevania IV. I know, more often than not, it isn't, especially not once the Metroidvania games started up. Still, the castle always has an outer path, outer walls, some woods inside, and then a smaller fortress within the walls. That's just how the castle works, so it's what I had to do here.
Of course, I had this background drawn up for a different project I was working on, so I got to cheap out and use it here as well. Win-win.
