I'm sure he'll be fine. He's not raku fired, so he doesn't have to worry about losing his glaze overly much (raku is lower-fired so a high heat could damage his glaze). Golem is near indestructible, so I'm sure this won't hurt him too much.
Well, unless he has seriously low health to start. We never have established how much HP he actually has.
