#2787: Golem's Return
The second I had Golem pick up the chain gun, the thought occurred to me that he could just add it to his repertoire. Not just by carrying the gun around, but by literally adding it to himself. He's done it before, and presumably with other weapons considering all that we've seen from him.
Which, speaking of...
Here we have a bonus strip to compliment the main strip above. I've toyed with the idea of doing "deleted scene" since I switched to the new art style, and I finally decided to bite the bullet and make one. In this case, this comic occurred to me after I was already a few strips further ahead from this, and since I couldn't easily work it in later, I've added it here as a bonus.
Besides, while it's funny, it doesn't add anything to the plot, really. And, Angel should already know how Golem's powers work. He doesn't need to ask about it. So this comic isn't really "in continuity" but it is still amusing, certainly.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
