#2726: Broadwave
Hopefully this plays. It wasn't exactly the layout I wanted for this strip, but the art wasn't really working. In one version I had the King in front of a microphone, but it looked really dumb. I'll do goofy and dumb jokes, but something about it wasn't working for me.
Another version had a cityscape in a middle panel. He'd start talking over that art (with an antenna broadcasting off) and then we'd go to the wider view of the planet. The thing was, the cityscape looked really terrible.
In the end I went with a wide shot just to actually get the art completed and have the joke play at all.
