According to Wikipedia, that is not a chaingun, as it has multiple barrels.
Anyways, does Darkmoon have the strength needed to control the recoil? He is a vampiric hero will potentially greater strength than a regular mortal man, but there is a reason they mount those things to helicopters and stuff.

More knowledge! I pulled some numbers off Wikipedia and did some math with them. Apparently, depending on the fire rate you use, the generic minigun can fling enough lead to levitate anywhere from 60 to 190 pounds. So not only do you have to lift the 85 pound gun (or only 41 pounds, for the lightweight version) it can produce enough of a kick that it's like a grown man standing on your hands.
