#2476: Bow-Chicka

This Comic's Storylines:

This is one of those rare occasions where Darkmoon diverges from the character I would actually play. This whole interchange between him and Katrina sounds like something he'd say, and just kind of came out while I was writing (so it's obviously what he wanted to say), but it's not something I would say were I playing as him.

Normally D and I are on point but while Darkmoon is taking in a bit of slut-shaming (let's be honest about it -- funny or no that's what it is) I tend to avoid that myself. I do have a love of words, though, and some of those, out of context, are good words. Doxy is worth a fair bit in Scrabble (and isn't even recognized by my spell-check, to boot). It's a slag-term that comes from ladies of the evening that used to troll the water front by the docks. Thus "docksies" or just doxies. If he's gonna slut-shame he's at least going to do it with a solid vocabulary.

Man, Darkmoon is kind of growing into the villain of this series. What happened?

800 years of waiting for Dracula's castle will probably do that. I think the apt line from Batman was "Die a Hero or live long enough to become the Villian" And it's been WAAYY too long since D's been the hero...

Go on actually darkmoon she deserves fes more words of enlightment.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
