#2410: A Singular Skill

Okay, so now that the comic reveals it, let's get it out of the way. Yes, we have officially jumped 800 years into the future. That's the primary reason I had to retire Alec and Princess -- they're not immortal, unlike Darkmoon or Golem. The time jump is essential for what's coming up, but to do it I had to let go of some of my characters. It's sad, I know.
(Editor's Note: Originally when published this comic stated they'd been waiting for 800 years, which made sense for the time jump. However, as per Castlevania continuity, Soma Cruz was Dracula and he showed up in 2035. That means we could only have gone only approx. 500 years since the last Dracula sighting. The comic text was adjusted for that fact since that's what we meant all along.)
But hey, at least Darkmoon finally ditched that damn cloak, right?

But I thought Darkmoon LOVED that cloak! Even if it was a pain to clean... Although I must say, he's looking kinda... swashbuckly. I like it.

I just have two thoughts.
1. If it's 800 years in the future, then it would be our future, too. Are we going for post-apocalyptic chaos or is this a shiny new future with technology beyond compare?
2. Did Angel finally get back into the good graces of God, did he get corrupted by and Elder God again, or will he be showing up soon?
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
