The line from the top of the panel is from Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie. At one point the characters get their hands stuck to some orbs and the characters remark, "our hands! they're magnetized!" To which the sarcastic robots watching the movie say, "and if they were made of metal, that would mean something."
