This right here is why Samus doesn't show up tending bar in DSWC. If she takes this minotaur's job (or any other away from the bar for that matter) then she wouldn't be at the bar to tend to the customers in the later series.
Of course there's also the fact that DSWC is set 70 years later and Samus would likely be dead of old age (although I think she makes a cameo in the series at least once, so who knows), but that's separate from the point I was making.
