Golem is remarkably heroic. How the heck did I write someone this upstanding? I must have been ill this week.
I'm not even certain Angel would last half an hour. He'd probably be like, "I can just pop to the future," and then overshoot, get distracted, and Alec would be left on his own. It's probably a good thing I didn't put Angel into this game as a major player.
