SO yeah, how do I explain that it's Alec that fought the Sorceress in the past instead of Darkmoon? Easy: I give him a red outfit and force him to wear it. Done and done.
It was hundreds of years in the past, it's not as if the Sorceress will remember which red-suited man she fought, and to be fair, she did remember one of them, just not the one she thought. It all loops back around.
