#1537: All Theory

This Comic's Storylines:

It is a question of how or why. In the comic (and my RPG book, for that matter) we acknowledge six Affinities (magical spheres): Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Dark, and Light. But there are two more we don't talk about (but I consider part of the magical world): Time and Belief. Belief is easier to nail down (although harder to use) -- it's what powers all the Gods and it comes from the energy (the prayers) of the believers.

Time, though, is scary. It's wild, unpredictable, and never works the same way twice. Very few have even tried to use Time magic, and fewer still have survived the attempt. That's part of why Angel's time travel is almost always poorly aimed (and often forgotten).
 
    

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
