#1277: No More Vampires

Wow, this game really does just wander all over the place. It's a lot like the first game in the series in that regard. First we're after the villain (Raye), but then we get distracted, and then we get distracted again... and again... and again... and in all that mix occasionally the villain is on the horizon, but only briefly.

It's actually moving at a much better clip than I remembered, though. My first time through it felt like such a slog, it's good to see this game wasn't as bad as I remembers. Always nice.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
