Because, remember, I skipped right over these two guys when I had Alec and Darkmoon firebomb their way through the castle. Certain details, such as Frankie and Mummy, were lost in the breeze-over.
Well, a lot of details were, really. There were supposed to be five major stages, and we only saw parts of two (plus the entrance and the castle keep). We didn't really see any of the bosses (aside from Frankie and Mummy, and Dracula now with the one actual boss fight in the comic). We saw none of the planned secret areas.
Yeah, so much skipped, but as far as narrative momentum was concerned, it was skipped for good reason. Better as a game than a comic series.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
