Of course Darkmoon had to ruin it, but this comic still feeds into what I've said a few times about D.
For all his greed and cowardice, all his various vices, and for all of the times that he's tried to get money out of the people he's saving, he's still, at his core, a decent enough chap and he will help those that need help whether or not they can pay him.
