Andrew Claypool

This Comic's Cast:

After writing through CVRPG IV, I realized I needed to refresh things and give CVRPG a fresh spin. The eventual decision was to boot the series 800 years in the future and start using all hand-drawn art. Once that decision was made, I realized I'd naturally have a much smaller cast as a good portion of the characters were mortal and would, naturally, have died.

That left me with a need for new characters. Unexpectedly, one of them came from an NPC I drew, an early soldier the crew ran across. That soldier, Claypool, has grown into a solid, stoic straight man for the rest of the cast to bounce off of. I'm glad he grew out of his early appearances into a great addition to the cast.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
