#43: Travel in Packs

Really, I should have used a third frame in this comic to do the battle animation -- one for the monster getting attacked and one for the monster fading out. But that would have violated the way I was telling this comic, the two-frame format. Just felt wrong to do things differently.
Yes, I know I did an off, multi-frame comic early in this run, but now that the comic has settled in, it felt like a cheat to add in a third frame. So, yeah. Two frames.
