#67: Power Control
This Comic's Cast:
This comic is interesting when you look back at the evolution of the comic. This particular scene is a retelling of the bit of backstory Katrina mentioned in CVRPG Comic #22. Back then, I was using different spell effects for the characters, and Katrina didn't have many sprite frames where she wasn't wearing a hat.
And yet, by the time I got around to writing these comics, Katrina wasn't wearing her "sorceress" hat in this particular series, so I had to change that. And change the spell effects. And change the nuke at the end.
But then, later still, I went through some of the early comics and redesigned them (old ones stored in the Classic archive), and in redesigning those comics I remade them to match this comic here.
Just worth mentioning...

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
