#25: Innocence

This is Alec's great love, Maria. We're finally getting to that part of his backstory.
To note, originally (in the Main Archive) I used a stretched Zelda sprite to represent Maria. After I did this series, I went through and started "George Lucas"-ing the old strips, trying to make them a touch more presentable in comparison to the current comics (it's all sprites, so it's not as if I'm really changing the old artwork all that much). Maria was one of the things I changed, updating her from Zelda to one of the Chrono Trigger maids.
Seems like a better fit, really, plus I didn't have a janky stretched sprite.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
