#53: The History of It
This Comic's Cast:
By the fast and loose rules the CVRPG universe has used to the gods and goddesses, this whole myth functions perfectly. People, as a group, will believe all kinds of things, and their belief has an effect on the world around them. Gods and goddesses form based on the beliefs (and, presumably, have their memories altered to match their revised back-stories).
I contemplated making this a set of comics instead of one long one, but the pacing for the arc (as well as this comic) felt better if I didn't stretch it out.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
