#11: The Other Battle
This Comic's Cast:
CVRPG doesn't tend to have a lot of graphic violence. Most everything the heroes fight are monsters (not usually humans at all), and there's not a lot of blood, or gore, or animated deaths (everyone just evaporates, leaving only the fresh scent of pine).
But the Metal Slug games are all about violence, and there's a lot of blood and gore and death. So it's one of those things where it's hard to put my series together with Metal Slug without feeling like I'm making a more "mature" comic than I'm used to.
I was going to have the character get into a moral discussion because of that... but it bogged down the comic, so I ditched it.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
