#757: Bad Way

Okay, so let's have a serious discussion for a moment. Everything the characters are going through was probably going to happen sooner or later. Richter is a terrible, terrible person and doing what he did was, sadly, inevitable. That's not to make excuses for him or to try, in any way, to justify his actions. You will note, in fact, that I'm trying very hard to never justify his actions in this plotline. He did a terrible thing and deserves all the consequences.

I will say I have no clue what made me start this plotline, but now that I'm in it I can't just leave. I'm not going to just play it for laughs, and I can't lightly drop it either. I just have to turn into the skid and see how far this takes the comic. And if, in the end, Maria kills Richter once and for all, we all have to agree he deserved it.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
