#259: Everone's Doing It
Both Marvel and DC are notorious for their continuity reboots. DC, of course, can't go a lunch break without having some kind of "Crisis" on any number of infinite realities, you followed by some random hour, night, day, or random afternoon, where upon some other, allegedly final crisis happens, and then another slew of major events will happen, usually with some major hero dying only to come back immediately afterwards when all the other books in their part of the line start to die off.

Marvel, although newer on the scene, has done a fantastic job catching up to DC, what with removing 90% of the mutants (conveniently missing most all of the important ones), killing off major heroes and then bringing them back (I'm looking at you, Captain America), and removing entirely storylines from a character's history (Spider-Man no longer being married, or the Iron Spider, or a super mutant, or a publicly outed hero, all in one fell swoop).

So hey, if DC and Marvel can do it, why not DSWC? Well, first we have to establish a continuity...

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
