#7: Sweet or Dry?

This is a lawyer joke. As a Jew, you have three professions that will be acceptable to your mother: doctor, lawyer, or rabbi. If you are any of those, your mother will guilt you less and will be happy with what you've done with your professional life.
That's not to say she won't guilt you -- she will, constantly, about everything that isn't your job. Mostly about "when are you going to find a nice Jewish girl to settle down with", or, once you have a girl, the fact that "she's not Jewish", or, if she is Jewish, about "when are you going to have some children?"
It's good if you read those quotes with a vaguely nasal whine. It aids in the authenticity.
