Question #8: Choose Your Weapon
I'm really not being evasive. Pixel sprites were good for when I needed them. Vector sprites are good for other situations. You'll note that as the comic moved into its late phase I even went back and played with the pixel sprites some more (even though at one point I actually thought I'd never touch them again). Each serves a purpose and has their own function. I do like them both... but let's actually discuss style and function in the second part of this answer...
