#2689: So Pretty
Admittedly I'm mixing up fairies and elves just a bit. Elves -- the evil, vile creatures for many myths -- are said to have a kind of glamour about them, a way to make themselves look prettier than they are. Elves in most stories now just call them pretty without any special magic, but back in old stories there was a magical reason for it.
Well, and the Discworld series. Elves in those books are terrible creatures with glamour magics. I like that version of the elves.
Anyway, fairies suck, too. Even if you ignore the high and low courts of the elves (seely and unseely or whatever they're called) or the fae, fairies are nasty bits of work. The further back you go in their stories, the nastier they get.
But hey, if Dracula is gonna run off, we're going to need some other solid villain for the heroes to fight. Fairies work.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
