Proper Belief Systems
While I was writing this, I had an Earthworm Jim episode stuck in my head. Each world is contained within a snow globe, and all the snow globes sit on a shelf in an outside universe (and, presumably, that outside world is, itself, contained in a larger snow globe).

I've got to say that I enjoyed The Thirteenth Floor. Simulations built into simulations made for an interesting concept and I liked the subtlety of each simulation has less color than the last.
