#1605: There's a Thought

Cassandra actually comes from a game I was once working on, way back in the day. As with most homebrews nothing ever came of it (See: Castlevania RPG Gaiden) but I took some of the story beats and ran with it.
Cassandra was the heroine of that game, although as originally conceived she wasn't actually a Belmont -- her fiance would have been, and when that guy (Darius, if I recall correctly) fell under the sway of Dracula, Cassie took up his whip and went to stop the vampire king.
Of course this was before Portrait of Ruin came out, so there was no indication that only Belmonts could wield the whip. That's part of the reason I changed her to being the Belmont (and also ditched Darius completely). Plus, it feel like she was better served if she was the agent of her own destiny (instead of just chasing after some dude).

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
