I like that Alec has easily figured out that he's stuck in the past. At least he thinks he is, and so far I haven't countered that. It shows he's really very smart. Of course, I know what the plan for this series is and it's hard to write all my characters as if they're in the dark. I'm not, so I can't keep them out of it.
