#1035: Certain Needs

And this is why I let the two of them wander off on these tangents. I didn't have this punchline in mind when I started, but Darkmoon and Alec naturally wrote themselves to it, and I just had to let it happen.
It really is a terrible line, though.
For the record, I've reused this background a couple of times since this series. I like the very Castlevania feel it has, but the open space of a top-down layout gives me more room to maneuver the sprites around, which is nice.
I think the most notable appearance of this version of the Keep is in DSWC. DSWC doesn't need much in the way of sprite continuity, so I can get away with using whatever sprites I want in there.

They actually do something heroic.
