Alec would, of course, know that name from his one jaunt into Hyrule. It was long enough back that we can forgive him for not clearly remembering it.
Darkmoon, however, should have jumped at the chance to get the Golden Power. I mean, "gold" is in the title. Maybe he's growing as a person?
Ganon and the level are both from the BS Zelda remake. For an early Zelda game (especially one based on the original title in the series) it's really quite attractive.
