Dracula is a simple creature of simple motivation. "See a towns-person, drink their blood." It's guided him so far through his life (with only the occasional trip to the grave after some hero got a little too friendly with a whip), why bother changing his lifestyle now?
If this was DSWC, Orlox would be giving this speech instead of Shaft. over there, Orlox is the PR manager. Shaft just handles the office work. Weird how I did that, especially since Orlox HATES Dracula. Why he'd be in charge of PR is anyone's guess (Dracula just sucks at hiring and promotions?).
