#509: It's Called Plot Convenience

This Comic's Storylines:

I will admit this is a flaw of Year One. I didn't really explain what the "grand plan" was (for a reason, of course), but it did mean that a certain amount of narrative thrust was missing from the story. Sure, it's easy to get characters wandering around the countryside killing vampires...

Actually, it's really easy to do that.

But yeah, not as epic as it could be if I'd explained a little more up front. I had my reason for not... but in retrospect (and you can think of this for yourself when you get to it) I may have hidden a few too many details to really make this epic.

For a moment, I forgot she was in the Mine's dungeon and thought she was in the dungeon ruled by the kid vampire. Got real creepy, real fast.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
