#499: Defenses

It is a standard RPG convention. There is always some boss along the way that's weak to magic but not physical attacks, or can switch his defense from one to the other.
Hell, even the Metroid Prime did that (in its titular game). Of course, that battle was obnoxious from start to finish.

Yeah, the fight against Prime seemed more about forcing the player to play around with all of the different visors then anything else. I will mention that the visor needed to see Prime does follow a set cyclical path, so once you figure the order out the fight becomes much easier.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
