#471: A Spot of Perusal

Call back to that old joke, but its such a good joke.
Flesh golems. Those are honestly one of the few golems I never used in any of the games I ran back in the day. Bone, Iron, Stone, Clay -- sure, those I used; they make sense in the context of the game, and pose something of a challenge to the players. They were good to use.
But Flesh? Who would want to make flesh golems? Sure, mad scientists, of course, but that's just the thing -- they're mad. And I don't even see them making golems when they could just resurrect the dead as zombies. Much easier, and less effort.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
