#469: That Funny Feeling

The vampiric magics are very closely aligned with darkness, both the night and the Dark Affinity. For a wizard to make their vampire minions immune to sunlight, even for a little while, they would have to expend HUGE amounts of magic, regularly. It would be quite draining for a spell caster, especially one that is already working to keep a city magically floating in the sky.
There are, probably, a ton of vampires asleep on that island, though. Provisions for them would be easy, though. Most of the vamps would be able to fly in one capacity or another -- as bats if nothing else. Fly off the island, get food, fly back. Easy.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
