WHen I think of Katrina, I think of her as primarily a wild Fire Mage (wild magic being unpredictable and hard to control). As the series has gone on, she's gained control of her abilities better and widened her magic pool. If I hadn't done that, I'd have had two fire mages, as Darkmoon uses a lot of fire based spells too.
