This Comic's Cast:
While many of the heroes in my comic are bright and funny, Alex cuts a more tragic character. This is by design for the world he lives in -- as a hero of a "dark" future (one of a couple I've created during CVRPG's run), Alex doesn't get to be super happy.
Not that I didn't do what I could to brighten him a little as his travels went on. Although he starts off as a loner, hating the world and avoiding the likes of heroes, I couldn't just write a truly dark character for very long. That's not really my speed and it wouldn't really fit the overall comic.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
