Hanz Belmont

This Comic's Cast:

To be fair, if Richter was to go after the girl, it would only be for the sex. And, if she put out in the castle (or mansion, or wherever she was being held), there's a better than 50% chance he'd leave her there afterwards.

Hanz, of course, was originally a pallet-recolor of Richter originally created for the Sega 32X game Castlevania: The Bloodletting. If you've never heard of that game, fear not -- it's vaporware. Whatever was originally created for Bloodletting was (supposedly) ported to the Sony Playstation for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and Hanz's sprites fell be the wayside.

His name wasn't even, originally, Hanz. It was just "The Adversary", and he was supposed to be another vampire hunter going after Dracula before Richter could (allegedly). In my mind, no one has a bigger rivalry than brothers, which is how this whole backstory came about.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
