#78: The Geezer's Tale Part 18

This Comic's Cast:

So why a Black Belt and a Black Mage? Do I just like the colors "black"?

In all reality. I wanted to make sure the group was diverse. Darkmoon is, effectively, the CVRPG equivalent of a Red Mage (decent at a lot of stuff, not great at anything). With him him in the party, I could have a stronger warrior and a stronger mage, and it'd be a lot like the party I used to play in the game.

If you're curious: Fighter, Red Mage, Black Mage, White Mage

I wanted to have a Black Made in the comic because they have the strongest attack magic, and attack magic looks cool in comics. Epic attacks and all that. With having a Black Mage in the group, I couldn't just put a Fighter in. That would be too on-the-nose in comparison to 8-Bit Theater. Plus, that would give me another character in red, and the speech bubbles would get confused. A Black Belt was better in this case.

Yes, I realize I have no healer. I guess I'll just have to try and avoid killing anyone too much.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
