This is 2000, Part 2

This Comic's Storylines:

And now to get all the heroes together. I made the Sorceress huge, so the only way to make this a seemingly fair fight is to then give the heroes as much backup as I can.

The scale of the Sorceress was sort of a very subtle nod towards Kefka's fight in Final Fantasy VI. Now, I haven't actually played that game, only watched portions of it, but the end battle where you basically fight your way up Kefka's weird angel/demon form stuck with me. Being able to swap heroes in and out, working your way through that final sequence. I dug that.

It helped inspire this fight, even though structurally it's very different.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
